Swiss National Day ... we went to a farm brunch and the fireworks-bonfire show in our backyard park again. Jon G came with us for the brunch ... everyone else was back in the U.S. for the Summer.

We went to Lausanne one day and found a great fountain to swim in!

We also found good berries to eat and a good beach all in the same day.

Guy came to visit us.... two times. He stopped for about 12 hours in route to Tel Aviv. Then stayed about 2 days on his way back home. We met him in Lucerne for his first visit, then he came to our house for his second visit.
We went to Vapeur Park one day (as soon as Dave got home from travelling for work, we kept him going non-stop). Vapeur Park is a mini-Swiss Park with mini-trains running everywhere. Even fun for the old folks like me and Dave.
Dave finally got us to the top of the Kaiseregg...he had hiked up it on one of his very first trips here, and always wanted us up there with him. It's a mountain we can see from our house...near Scwartzsee, Lake Noir. It was steep, but definitely worth the effort. Kacey LOVED it. At the top saddle, a view of the snow capped alps was spectacular, but it didn't grab my camera like the field of sheep that we walked into ... they were all around us.
That's where we were when we finally got to the top.
Kacey and Dave at the top.Hey, back off and give me a break...Cambelle and I were there, too! Somebody had to take the picture!!!!

There was even a small moment where we were in the lead!
:-)
